HOLLIS — An off-duty auxiliary police officer was robbed of his cash while wearing plainclothes at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, the New York Post reported.
The 40-year-old officer had just parked his personal car on 184th Street near 90th Avenue when a man holding a pistol approached him, according to the Post.
The gunman demanded money from the officer, the Post said, and the officer complied, handing the robber $18, who then fled the scene, according to the Post.
