2 robbers hit 7-Elevens in western Queens: Cops

WESTERN QUEENS — The city Police Department has requested residents be on the lookout for two individuals wanted for three armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores throughout western Queens.

The first incident occurred Oct. 30 at approximately 3 a.m. at 79-10 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights, police said. A white male about 6 feet tall with a stocky build and a black male about 5 feet 8 inches with a stocky build entered the store with handguns and demanded money, police said. They later fled on foot, police said.

The next day, Oct. 31, at approximately 3:35 a.m. at 101-04 Metropolitan Ave. in Forest Hills, the white suspect entered the store with a gun and demanded money, later fleeing on foot, police said.

Both suspects were present at a robbery the day after that, Nov. 1, at 3:40 a.m. at 31-31 Thompson Ave. in Long Island City, police said. Both entered the store armed and demanded money, after which they ran away, police said.

The white suspect was last seen wearing a brown coat with a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt.
