Clinton Democratic Club meeting

FLUSHING – Elected officials and the presidents of the Whitestone, Bayside, Little Neck and Flushing Volunteer Ambulance Corps met at the Clinton Democratic Club meeting on November 17 to discuss the spirit of Thanksgiving, the need for continued volunteers and donations in the community and other issues regarding the Democratic Party. Held at Vallone & Vallone on Francis Lewis Boulevard, New York City Public Advocate Bill De Blasio spoke about the need to protect term limits, education reform – especially in light of newly appointed New York City Schools Chancellor – safeguarding land use and accountability on all levels of city government. Also in attendance were Assemblymember Elect Ed Braunstein and State Senator Elect Tony Avella who each thanked the club for their continued support.

The Clinton Democratic Club’s holiday meeting and party will be Friday, December 17 at 7 p.m. All are asked to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated to families of local veterans.
