Gotti grandson admits to pellet gun at school: DA

KEW GARDENS — John Gotti’s grandson admitted this week in Queens Criminal Court to owning a pellet gun used to fire shots into a Howard Beach schoolyard, according to the Queens DA.

John Gotti, 17, pleaded guilty Monday to possession of a gun that was used by a friend who fired pellets into the schoolyard of PS 207 in Howard Beach on Halloween night, the DA said. There were about 15 to 20 people having a party in the schoolyard at the time, but no one was hurt, the New York Post reported.

The teen, whose grandfather was the notorious mob boss who died in 2002, was ordered to finish 20 hours of community service rather than being put on probation or going to jail, according to the DA and the Post.

He is the son of Peter Gotti, the youngest of the senior John Gotti’s children.
