Man, 19, shot to death in Corona building: Cops

CORONA — A shooting left a man dead Tuesday night in the third floor hallway of a building at 98-23 Horace Harding Expressway, police said.

Police responding to the scene discovered Percel Wright, 19, of 98-32 57th Ave., had been shot once in the chest.

Emergency responders took Wright to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Wright’s family had been notified and the investigation was ongoing as of Tuesday night, police said.
