The Queens Centers for Progress, which works to promote the independence of individuals with developmental disabilities through education, therapy, job training and placement, day programs, advocacy, service coordination, housing, and many other support services, held its annual holiday toy giveaway on December 22 at the 164th Street location, thanks to the efforts of the Jamaica Rotary, which supplied the toys, and the 113th, 107th, 102nd and 103rd Precincts, along with Patrol Borough Queens South.
