Woman assaulted in home of attackers: DA

FLUSHING — Two Flushing women were arraigned Dec. 16 on charges of assault and harassment, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Ying Mei Piao, 22, and Enzheng Zhao, 52, allegedly both attacked a woman Dec. 14 around 4 p.m. inside of their home near the intersection of Parsons and Northern boulevards, the DA said. Piao allegedly kicked the woman in the stomach, as well as grabbed and pulled the woman’s hair, the DA said.

Zhao allegedly punched the woman around her head and body, the DA said. Zhao also allegedly threw a glass pitcher at the woman, but it missed and broke into pieces on the floor near the woman, the DA said.

The woman told police she was bruised and scratched about her arms and body and received a bump to her forehead, the DA said.

Piao and Zhao were both released on their own recognizance and their next court date is Jan. 5, the DA said.
