Arrest in alleged assault

A Brooklyn man was arrested for allegedly beating another on January 7 at Sutter Avenue and 123rd Street.
According to the district attorney, Clarence Morning struck the victim on his right shoulder with a metal pipe. He then allegedly grabbed the victim by his jacket and shoved him, causing his glasses to fall and break.
Morning was arraigned on January 12 and released on his own reconnaissance. His next court date is March 8.
