ASTORIA — Police arrested a man who allegedly broke into a 30th Street building Jan. 24.
According to an eyewitness, Mohamed Ellmallouki allegedly busted a basement window out of the building, near 36th Avenue, at about 11 p.m. and crawled inside, said a criminal complaint filed by the DA’s office.
The witness, a custodian of the building, called police, who later arrested Ellmallouki and charged him with burglary and trespassing, the complaint said.
