A man was taken in for mental examination on Thursday, February 24, after walking into a building at Creedmoor Psychiatric hospital with what police feared was a bomb, according to a New York Post report.
Ron Harvey, 45, walked in and placed a box on the counter and walked away. Workers were worried about the contents of the box calling police. Bomb Squad technicians determined the box contained only a clock, no explosives, according to the report.
Harvey was taken into custody and was being held for psychiatric evaluation.
