Smoking ban is great

I applaud the city council for passing a bill that bans smoking in city parks, beaches, boardwalks, marinas and pedestrian plazas. Second-hand smoke endangers all of us, especially children who go to these places.

It might be difficult to enforce. Perhaps we should all be "smoking police" and warn those lighting up that it is against the law.
