ELMHURST — A cab driver in East Elmhurst was paid with a punch to the face Feb. 15, according to the New York Post.
Daniel Alvarez, 30, hailed a cab at 104th Street near Roosevelt Avenue at 6:21 a.m., the Post said.
The driver took Alvarez to 111th Street and 34th Avenue, but instead of cash, he received a beating when Alvarez allegedly punched him in the face, the Post said.
Alvarez was charged with assault and harassment, the Post said.
