End ‘failing schools’

Let’s truly hope that Deputy-Mayor Dennis Walcott will become the new Chancellor of Schools with a good deal of optimism; that he will fervently work towards ending "failing schools" and teacher layoffs in particular.

He will require assistance from teachers, parents, and, yes, even students.

A coalition of the "willing" is indeed necessary to "right the wrongs" inherent presently within our schools.

We can and must do better.

The very BEST to you, Chancellor Walcott.
