Million-dollar donation for schools raises eyebrows

Something is drastically wrong.

Did I hear correctly that on the TV broadcast of “60 Minutes” April 24 that Eli Broad, one of the wealthiest billionaires on this planet, presented a check to Mayor Michael Bloomberg for $32 million for New York City schools?

What has he done with this money? Why is the school system in such an horrendous financial situation? Why are teachers being laid off due to the lack of funds?

What has the city done with all the lottery and Off-Track Betting money for the past 30 years?

Something is drastically wrong and it needs fixing immediately.
