In reply to Robert Hornak column, Is gay marriage inevitable?
If the trend is in favor of same sex marriages, why are the politicians trying so desperately to force the issue on the voters by keeping it off the ballot? California is the latest case where the voting majority turned down same sex unions. There will always be a difference of opinion between generations.
However, Mark Twain expressed it best about old fogies, “When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years”.
