The United States needs to begin to immediately withdraw its forces from Afghanistan. The Afghan president is forever complaining about our forces as being more of an occupation force rather than a fighting one. Well, our brave military has been fighting over there, with many sacrificing their lives since we started fighting the war on terror on September 11, 2001.
Why must our nation always be the policeman of the world? Who is helping us? We need to let nations handle their own security – we have enough problems of our own. Other nations in the international community need to step forward to assist those nations that are having problems. The United States cannot be everywhere all of the time.
