JACKSON HEIGHTS — A suspect was wanted in the burglary of a home that took place last month, police said.
The incident occurred May 3 around 4:30 p.m., when the person allegedly entered the apartment at 46th Avenue and 78th Street and removed a safe that contained some jewelry and cash, according to the police.
The suspect was described as a Latino man between 40 and 45 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 220 pounds and was seen wearing a beige shirt with black pants, investigators said.
