A Woodhaven man was arrested Friday and charged with rape for the second time in a year, police said.
On July 26, Kevin Pazmini, 21, approached a woman from behind around 6 a.m. near the corner of 89th Street and Jamaica Avenue and allegedly put her in a choke hold, the NYPD said.
He then allegedly dragged the 35-year-old woman into a nearby alley, which was less than 10 blocks from his residence, at 76-13 86th Ave., and punched her in the face, head and back before sexually assaulting her, police said
The day after, police released a surveillance video of Pazmini before his Friday arrest.
It was not the first time Pazmini was charged with rape.
In September 2010, Pazmini was arrested and charged with raping a woman who police said was too drunk to consent to sex.
He pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of sexual assault, according to Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
He served probation for the crime, and was required to register as a Level 1 sex offender.
Also last year, Pazmini was arrested and charged with assault after an October incident where he punched a woman, shoved her and pressed a knife against her body, the NYPD said.
He served 10 days in jail.
