FLUSHING — Last week, the NYPD found 47-year-old Zi Zhuang Mai dead inside an apartment building, at 161-09 Horace Harding Expwy. in Flushing.
A little after 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, police responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious male, and upon arrival they discovered Mai unconscious and unresponsive, the NYPD said.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced Mai dead on arrival, according to police. The investigation was ongoing and the medical examiner was to determine the cause of death.
A witness at the scene said Mai was the building’s landlord and that he had been ill.
