I am heartsick for the thousands of victims and their grieving families and friends every time a newspaper or TV program runs the horrifying photos and footage of the burning Trade Towers.
Politicians who also exploit this massacre for their own gain are vicious and insensitive to the feelings of victims’ loved ones.
The two dozen maniacs responsible for this second “Day of Infamy” and their followers must gloat at the sight of the destruction here and in Washington, D.C., and the reports of the Shanksville, PA losses of more innocent lives. The first responders who became sick are denied immediate help and compensation for their heroic tasks.
What is the matter with people in power who demean these victims?
For the sake of decency and to really honor the sacrificed, I beseech the media and politicians to refrain from showing painful graphics.
