More than 50 residents packed the Old Mill Yacht Club in Howard Beach to listen to Democratic candidate Philip Goldfeder discuss the issues most important to southern Queens residents – creating jobs and improving the economy, getting rid of the bridge toll and protecting healthcare for seniors.
Goldfeder is running for Assembly District 23, which includes Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, Broad Channel and the Rockaways. State Senator Joseph Addabbo and former Assemblymember Audrey Pheffer also addressed the crowd at the August 31 gathering and urged residents to vote for Goldfeder. – Steve Mosco
