Woman robbed of $40 at knifepoint: Post

JFK AIRPORT — Gary Fitzgerald, 47, allegedly robbed a woman Sept. 18 in the John F. Kennedy International Airport parking lot, the New York Post reported.

Fitzgerald came up to the woman at around 6:05 a.m. when she was putting her baggage in her car, the Post reported. Fitzgerald, who allegedly had a knife, reportedly demanded cash and the woman gave him $40, according to the Post.

After Fitzgerald allegedly tried to get away in the woman’s car, the victim began to scream and threw her wallet at him, the Post reported. A parking agent saw him, at which point he allegedly got rid of the car and was later arrested by a Port Authority officer, the Post reported.

He has been charged with grand larceny, unlawful imprisonment, weapons possession, criminal possession of stolen property and stalking, the newspaper said.
