CORONA — A man who allegedly abducted his daughter last Thursday was collared later the same day, the NYPD said.
Mario Minaya, 33, of 33-40 104th St., called the child’s mother at around 11 a.m. Oct. 6 and said she would never see him or the 2-year-old girl again, police said.
The mother told investigators she had left the daughter with Minaya at her house, at 35-54 95th St., before she left for work.
The NYPD then issued an amber alert.
Minaya was arrested later that day and charged with custodial interference and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
