Flames ripped through a Bushwick apartment house during a one-alarm fire on Monday afternoon, Jan. 2, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze broke out at around 12:45 p.m. at a three-story residence located in the vicinity of Halsey Street and Bushwick Avenue. Among the units that responded to the scene (in numerical order) were members of Engine companies 222, 233 and 277; Ladder companies 111, 112, 120 and 176; Squad companies 1 and 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 37 and 44-under the direction of Division 15-along with the 83rd Precinct and EMS units. No injuries were reported.
