Thousands of people laced up their walking shoes in order to raise funds to help patients fight breast cancer during the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park on Sunday morning

Members of psychology and advance research classes at Christ the King Regional High School in Middle Village recently took a field trip to the American Museum of Natural History to participate in a special workshop titled “Your Evolving Brain.” As noted, the session allowed students to take part in a number of hands-on laboratory investigations about how the brain has evolved in humans as compared with other species.
