Seek bank robber
The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred within the confines of the 109th Precinct.
On Friday, January 20 at approximately 5 p.m., the suspect entered a Chase Bank, located at 57-27 Main Street, approached a teller and demanded cash. According to police, the teller complied and handed the suspect an unknown amount of cash before he fled.
There were no reported injuries.

Thief stabs woman in stomach
Cops are on the hunt for an assailant who stabbed a 51-year-old woman in the stomach after he tried to snatch her purse.
Police said the woman was rushed to New York Hospital Queens with non-life-threatening injuries on January 26 from Union Street, where she was attacked at 6:15 a.m.
Police seek missing 83-year-old woman
Police say an 83-year-old woman never returned home from a doctor’s appointment.
Xiu Lan Shen was last seen on January 30 at her doctor’s office located at 136-20 38th Avenue.
Police say she is approximately 5’02″and weighs 105 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black sneakers and black pants.

Two suspects wanted for a commercial robbery
The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted in connection with a commercial robbery.
On January 17, at approximately 6 p.m., two male suspects entered 23 Steinway Street armed with a handgun. Police say they ordered the owners, employees and one customer to lie on the floor while they removed money. Police say they then fled on foot southbound onto Steinway Street.
One suspect is described as a male black, approximately 35 years old and 5’10″ tall, weighing 190 pounds. Police say he has dark skin and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black ski cap, a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and tan work boots.
The other suspect is described as a male black, approximately 35 years old and 6’1″ tall. Police say he weighs 190 pounds and has a slim build and dark skin. He was last seen wearing a black ski cap and black hooded jacket.
These suspects are wanted for a commercial robbery on Steinway Street.

Male assaulted, found dead on ground
A 25-year-old Hispanic male was found dead in front of 111-08 38th Avenue on January 31.
Police responded to a report of an unconscious male, and upon arrival, found the unidentified victim dead on the ground with trauma to his head.
According to police, further investigation determined that the victim had been assaulted by a group of unidentified males.
Although there are no arrests yet, police said the investigation is ongoing.
Suspect wanted for impersonating a cop
The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an individual wanted for questioning in regards to a robbery and criminal impersonation of a police officer.
On December 25, at approximately 8 a.m., the suspect approached a 50-year-old male victim in the rear of 35-38 96th Street.
The suspect identified himself as a police officer, proceeded to search the victim and removed the victim’s watch and wallet — which police say contained miscellaneous items — before he fled from the location.
The suspect is described as a male black, 5’6″ tall.
