HARRY F. MEYER of Glendale died on Saturday, February 4, at the age of 95. A native of Germany, he was the devoted father of Barbara Van Cott, Janet DePrisco and Harry L. Meyer. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were offered at George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41 CooperAve., by Rev. Thomas Green, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, and burial of remains at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens.
ANNE MARIE RUSSO died on Thursday, February 16, at the age of 59. She was the wife of the late Joseph Russo, loving mother of Louise M. Russo and dear sister of Dominic Sanpietro CFC, Anthony Sanpietro and the late John Sanpietro. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. VIOLET VILA died on Tuesday, February 14, at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Vila, loving mother of Robert Vila and Linda Vila Passione and cherished grandmother of Margarita Passione. CARMEN SMITH of Ridgewood died on Friday, February 10, at the age of 52. A native of Queens, she was the beloved wife of Charles G. Smith Jr., devoted mother of Nicole Smith, loving daughter of Josef and Else Kern and dear brother of Heumuth Hader.
