Scouts’ Honor Is an ‘arrow of Light’

Members of the Cub Scouts of Troop and Pack 139 of Howard Beach were inducted into the Boy Scouts of America and received the “Arrow of Light” Award during a ceremony last Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Helen’s School. As noted, the award is the highest achievement a Cub Scout can receive. Rep. Bob Turner (background, standing at center) participated in the ceremony and presented each scout with a Congressional certificate. Also shown in the photo are Lisa Forgione, den leader, and Miguel Hernandez, assistant den leader.
