In celebration of the New York Giants’ victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5, the students and faculty of St. Matthias School held a “Blue & White” dress down day last Friday, Feb. 10. As noted, the blue and white not only represent the Super Bowl Champs, but also are the official colors of the Ridgewood school. Pictured in foreground (from left to right) are kindergarten students Christian Esteves, Jacob Mullins, Elisha Rosario, Aleksander Tejada, Angel Sierra, Isabella Ravello, Eden Fernandez and Hennessy Cruz. Shown in the background are St. Matthias secretaries Carol Kuhner and Gail Riccobene.
