Family members and friends of Colin Flood, a six-year-old student at Our Lady of Hope School currently battling leukemia, came to help at a bone marrow donor drive held at the Middle Village school last Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18. Cosponsored by DKMS Americas, the drive was held to find a match for Colin, who needs a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Those who registered as donors but are not matches for Colin may be enrolled to help others in need of a similar transplant. Among those who participated in the drive, as shown above, are Kevin and Jennifer Flood, Colin’s parents; Vincent Flood Sr., Colin’s grandfather; Jennifer Flood and Michelle Sehn, Colin’s aunts and Vincent Flood Jr. and Christopher Sehn, Colin’s uncles.
