ASTORIA — The NYPD has been looking for two suspects in a robbery at Steinway Street and 23rd Road that took place Jan. 17 at 6:10 p.m.
Police said two men went into a commercial property at the intersection with a handgun and told the owners, employees and a customer to get on the floor. The men then took money and ran down Steinway Street, police said.
Authorities described the first suspect as a mustached, dark-skinned black man about 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190 pounds. He was wearing a black ski cap, black hooded jacket, blue jeans and tan work boots, police said.
The second suspect is a black man with dark skin and a slim build, police said. Authorities said the man is about 35 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 190 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing a black ski cap and a black hooded jacket, police said.
