The NYPD is seeking the suspect shown in this security camera footage in connection to two early-morning gas station robberies last Tuesday, Jan. 31. The first incident occurred at 3:20 a.m. at a gas station at 176 McGuiness Blvd. in Greenpoint. The suspect, armed with a handgun, fired shots through a glass door to enter the location and steal money from the register. A gas station attendant inside the location suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds to the left torso and arm. A half-hour later, the suspect was seen at another gas station at 30- 75 21st St. in Astoria. Reportedly, he displayed a black handgun to an employee and and then to a customer at the pump, and took money from both before fleeing. The suspect is described as an African-American male approximately 6′ tall, and was last seen wearing navy sweatpants, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, a black skimask, and white gloves, and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
