89-year-old found dead in Elmhurst home with trauma to head

An 89-year-old Elmhurst man was found dead in his apartment with trauma to his face, according to police.

Demaso Llano was discovered at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 26 inside his 43rd Avenue home, police said.

According to authorities, Llano was found unconscious and tied up. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
