Police are asking the public’s assistance in tracking down the armed bandit seen in these surveillance camera images who is wanted for holding up a bodega in Corona last month. Law enforcement sources said the stickup occurred at 7:20 a.m. on Feb. 26 inside the shop located at 107-24 Corona Ave. Authorities described an African-American male believed to be between 25 and 35 years of age, standing between 5’6″- and 5’8″-tall with brown eyes while wearing a gray baseball cap, a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan work boots. Reportedly, the gunman approached a store clerk, displayed a silver revolver and demanded cash. After obtaining money, police said, the crook fled from the scene. The incident was reported to the 110th Precinct; there were no injuries.
