A pair of cars collided at a Glendale intersection last Tuesday night, Mar. 20, causing one of the vehicles to lose control and strike a nearby storefront, FDNY sources said. The accident reportedly occurred at around 8:30 p.m. at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and 66th Street. Members of Engine Co. 286, Ladder Co. 135, Rescue 4, Battalion 28, the 104th Precinct, NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10 and EMS units responded to the scene. One of the drivers was removed by paramedics to a local hospital for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening, Fire Department sources noted.
