The birthday of one of America’s greatest children’s authors was celebrated last Friday, Mar. 2, by nursery students at Sacred Heart School in Glendale. As shown, the children created crafts and read stories by Dr. Seuss, a.k.a. Theodor Geisel, writer of such classics as The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham and The Lorax. Geisel, who died in 1991, would have turned 108 last Friday.
