Sedans Smash on Bqe In Woodside

Three people were hospitalized with injuries after a pair of cars collided along the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in Woodside early last Saturday morning, Mar. 17, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the crash occurred at 4 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the BQE near the Long Island Expressway exit. Members of Engine companies 229 and 259, Ladder companies 128 and 146, Squad Co. 288, Rescue 4, Battalion 45, the 108th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Each of the victims were removed by paramedics to Elmhurst Hospital Center for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
