The first theft occurred Feb. 15, at 130-35 Avery Ave., police said.
Juan Torries, 19, allegedly loaded about $2,000 worth of tools onto a cart and attempted to stroll out of the store without paying, police said.
Then on Feb. 27, another man tried the same thing, at 124-04 31st Ave., according to the NYPD.
At about 2:45 p.m., Paul Jones, 55, allegedly piled $1,400 worth of tools onto a cart and began to walk out the door, police said.
