MARIE KRINES of Middle Village died on Sunday, April 22, at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of Julius, devoted mother of Fred, fond mother-in-law of Patricia, dear sister of Franz, Albin, Emil Stritzel and the late Ernst Stritzel and Elizabeth Kull and loving grandmother of Jason, Kenneth, Tracy and Kelly. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, April 25, at St. Margaret Church, Middle Village, followed by interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under the direction of Michaels Funeral Home, 79-22 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.

JOSEPH SOLDANO died on Wednesday, April 18, at the age of 85. He was the husband of the late Nancy Soldano, loving brother of Mary and Lenny and brother-in-law of Mary and Anna. He was also a cherished uncle of numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II. AMass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, April 21, at St. Stanislaus Church, Maspeth, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

LOUIS V. TUCCI died on Tuesday, April 17, at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Tucci, loving father of Bruce J. Tucci and Robert S. Tucci, cherished grandfather of Richard, Stephanie and Diana and dear brother of Rose, Ann, Mary, Paul and Jerry. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, April 21, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed by cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

MARGARET CASSARA died on Monday, April 16, at the age of 86. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Cassara, loving mother of Andrew Cassara and Jane R. Ducey, motherin law of Rose Mary and Kevin, cherished grandmother of Michael Christian and Jared and dear sister of the late Connie, Giorgio, Joseph, Joh, Robert, Vincent, Celia, Antoinette, Josephine, Nene, Josephine, Nitassia, Bartolo and Giovanna. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, April 20, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle Village, followed by entombemnt at St. John Cemetery Resurrection Mausoleum, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

MANUEL JACINTO died on Monday, April 16, at the age of 91. He was the husband of the late Alejandrina Latorre, loving father of Claudio Jacinto and cherished uncle of Denine Paris. Services were offered on Friday, April 20, at Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed by entombment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth.

JOHN DEVANEY died on Thursday, April 19, at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Devaney (nee Novak), loving father of Frank, John and the late Sharon, father-in-law of Annmarie and Maria, cherished grandmother of C.J., Samantha and Johnathan, fond greatgrandfather of Christopher and dear brother of Francis and the late Thomas, Joe and Patrick. He is survived by numerous brothers- and sisters in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. WALTER STRUNA of Ridgewood died on Monday, April 23, at the age of 76. A native of Altag, Gottschee, Yugoslavia, he was the dear brother of Elfriede Struna and Johann Struna. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Matthias Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

JOVAN TUCIC of Glendale died on Wednesday, April 18, at the age of 78. A native of Silbas Backa, Serbia, he was the devoted father of Dragan Tucic. Services were offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood, by Rev. Fr. Djokan Majatorovic, followed by interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing.

LORETTA ROULSTON of Flushing died on Friday, April 20, at the age of 80. A native of Brooklyn, she was the wife of the late Edward, devoted mother of Frances Schmidt, Walter Roulston, James Roulston, Edward Roulston and Joann Dabrowski and dear sister of May Schook. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. KORNEL IGNAT of Ridgewood died on Friday, April 20, at the age of 87. A native of Nicolinci, Yugoslavia, he was the husband of the late Ana and devoted father of Silvia Coloka and Kornelia Radulov. MAKRAM B. SAWIRIS of Woodhaven died on Wednesday, April 18, at the age of 89. A native of Cairo, Egypt, he was the husband of the late Victoria and devoted father of Mamdoh Sawiris and Maged Sawiris.
