No injuries were reported after a one-alarm fire scorched a meat market and apartments above it in Maspeth last Saturday afternoon, Apr. 14, it was reported. Fire Department sources said that the blaze broke out at around 4 p.m. and spread throughout the two-story building located on 61st Street at Maspeth Avenue. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 291, 292, 206, 271 and 325; Ladder companies 140, 163, 124 and 136; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 4 and Battalions 28 and 46-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units. Three hose lines were used by firefighters to extinguish the blaze, an FDNY source said.
