The NYPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying the following suspects wanted in regards to three robberies in Astoria and Long Island City. On Friday, Mar. 30, the duo allegedly approached a 43-year-old on 40th Avenue and 24th Street at about 6 p.m., struck the victim with a baseball bat and took his cell phone. On Sunday, Apr. 8 at about 7 p.m., they allegedly approached a 54-year-old man at 38th Street and 24th Avenue, displayed a knife and fled with the victim’s cash. Finally, on Monday, Apr. 9 at 8:52 p.m., they allegedly assaulted a 31-yearold man at 40th Avenue and 22nd Street and took his property. The suspects are described as a 5’8″-tall Hispanic male and a 6′-tall African-American male.
