Angelina Marie Sora, of Carmel, N.Y., and formerly of Bayside, died April 24. She was 94.
Sora was born March 13, 1918, to Rosario and Antoinette Costanza Maletta in Brooklyn. On Sept. 7, 1941, she married Joseph Sora.
Before she retired, she was a school crossing guard in New York City.
She is survived by her sons and their wives Sebastian and Mary and Joseph and Louise; grandchildren Joseph Walter, Sebastian, Frances, Jenny, Joseph and Michael; and great-grandchildren Angelina, Sebastian, Nicholas, Sebastian, Lillian and Evelyn.
She was predeceased by her husband.
Her visitation was held April 29 at Cargain Funeral Home in Carmel. A burial mass was held April 30 at St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel. Internment followed at St. John’s Cemetery in Queens.
