MARIE M. ERNST of Ridgewood died on Monday, May 28, at the age of 94. Anative of St. Louis, Mo., she was the wife of the late Charles, devoted mother of Mary Helen O’Brien and James Ernst, loving grandmother of Timothy and Jeffrey O’Brien and Kyra Ernst and fond great-grandmother of Timothy, Leanne, Carl and Kevin. She was also the former librarian of St. Matthias School and provided 59 years of service to the Girl Scouts of America. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Matthias School, Ridgewood, followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Peter J. Geis Funeral Home, 57-34 Catalpa Ave., Ridgewood.
ROGER P. MICHELI died on Saturday, May 19, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Marie L. (nee Cestaro) Micheli, loving father of Lorren Micheli, Patricia and Angelo Caputo and James and Rachel Micheli, cherished grandfather of Lisa, Jenna, David, Stevie and Casie and dear brother of Gene Micheli. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. MERCEDES CABALLERO died on Wednesday, May 16, at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late Nestor Caballero, loving mother of Catherine M. Rodd, mother-in-law of Donald, cherished grandmother of Anthony, Danielle and Timothy and dear sister of Anna, Luis, Celia, Adria, Pablo and the late Rafaela, Ricardo, Iris, Theresa and Belen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
