E-space to the Rescue for ‘cake Man’

Due to an overwhelming number of orders at his Brooklyn business for his signature red velvet confection for Mother’s Day, Raven Patrick De’Sean Dennis III- known professionally as “Cake Man Raven”-temporarily rented a kitchen at the Entrepreneur Space in Long Island City, operated by the Queens Economic Development Corporation. The Cake Man, who holds the Guinness World Record for making the largest cake ever, cranked out over 300 sweet treats over 36 hours during Mother’s Day weekend. Versions of this masterpiece have been served as a number of high-profile events including the Grammy Awards, the ESPY Awards, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony and the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame.
