FOREST HILLS — Police were looking for a man and a woman suspected of stealing from a 68-year-old blind woman in a Forest Hills subway station and then using her credit cards last month.
Authorities said a 39-year-old black woman and a black man in his 40s went up to a blind woman, who was walking her guide dog through the F line subway station at 75th Avenue. One of them reached into the woman’s dress pocket and took her wallet, police said, and after stealing it they used the credit cards inside at nearby businesses.
Police identified the female suspect is Latisha Richardson. She is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, police said.
The second suspect’s name is unknown but he is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 pounds, police said. The last outfit he was seen wearing included a black T-shirt, white jacket and black baseball cap and he was carrying a black backpack at the time, police said.
