War Hero Honored by Boro Prez

Following his remarks at Queens Borough President Helen Marshall’s Memorial Day ceremony in Kew Gardens last Tuesday, May 22, Lt. Col. Neil Murphy Jr. of the Marine Corps was presented by Marshall with a special proclamation. Murphy served three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and remarked that “our war dead have left a legacy of freedom.”
