Brooklyn man, 27, dies after vehicle hits curb

LINDENWOOD — A 27-year-old Brooklyn resident died in Lindenwood Sunday after he lost control driving an all-terrain vehicle northbound on 77th Street, police said.

The NYPD said Jesus Hernandez, who lived on Belmont Avenue, had struck a curb and was thrown from the vehicle. Police found him at around 9:40 p.m. with severe head trauma. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

No criminality is suspected, police said.
