JAMAICA — Police were looking for four men believed to be responsible for the death of Jamaica resident George Ayala earlier this month.
Ayala, 35, was found by authorities with severe trauma to the head June 10 at the intersection of 161st Street and 89th Avenue in Jamaica, not far from where he lived, police said. He died six days later at Jamaica Hospital Center, police said.
The first suspect is described as a black man approximately 6 feet tall with short black hair, police said. When last seen he was wearing a polo shirt with horizontal yellow and blue stripes, black pants and a black baseball hat with a yellow brim, police said.
The second suspect is a black man about 5 feet 9 inches with short black hair, police said. He wore an open, black button-down collared shirt, black pants and a black baseball hat when last seen, police said.
The third suspect is a black man approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build, police said. He is described as wearing a white T-shirt, dark-colored pants and a red baseball cap when last seen, police said.
The fourth suspect is a Hispanic man about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, police said. The outfit he was last seen wearing was a black T-shirt with white writing on the front, long green cargo shorts and a black baseball hat worn with the brim in the back, police said.
