No residents were injured after a one-alarm fire broke out inside a Ridgewood apartment house last Thursday morning, June 7, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze ignited at about 6 a.m. on the first floor of a home located in the vicinity of Grove Street and Seneca Avenue. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 271, 277, 291 and 218; Ladder companies 124, 112 and 140; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 4 and Battalions 28 and 37-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units. One hose line was used by firefighters to bring the fire under control, an FDNY source said.
