Fine musical and dance performances hosted by Lincoln Center Local will come to several branches of the Queens Borough Public Library this summer, it was announced on Monday, July 9. The program will kick off this Saturday, July 14, at the Broadway branch at 40-20 Broadway in Astoria, where Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana will perform “The Resurgence of Spanish Dance” at 2:30 p.m. A preview of the performance was offered at Monday’s press conference at the Broadway branch, which was attended by Queens Library President and CEO Thomas W. Galante, City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer and Hillary McAndrew Plate, senior manager of the Meet the Artist & Community Programming of Lincoln Center.
